Once again, I've let it get too long in between my posts online. So much to share!
As most of you the Baritone Madness album was launched officially this September 13, 2019. It's been an exciting time for me and the band as reviews and radio play have occurred. Most notable have been our #1 in Canada debut on the radio charts, as well as #1 for the month of October in Canada. We've also been overjoyed to get as high as #11 on the US NACC charts, sharing the top 20 with legends of jazz like John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Chick Corea and Stan Getz. If you haven't already done so, it is available on all of the major streaming sites. Of course we would appreciate a download purchase of any type over streaming, but we would like to have our music played far and wide. FYI, if you purchase one track it is the equivalent of around 180-200 streams.
Also exciting is Baritone Madness will be presenting a Christmas show on December 14, 2019 at the Ironwood Stage and Grill starting at 9:00pm. Cover is $20 and the Ironwood is an all ages venue. It will be all new material as we didn't have a Christmas playlist. Pat, Gareth and I are feverishly writing some fun new X-Mas arrangements to share. I personally can't wait to see the reaction to my fun take on Jingle Bells and The Little Drummer Boy.
One final thing to share, I will be hosting the Kawa Jazz Jam on Saturday November 30th from 3-6pm. It's a free event so come and say hello and maybe sit in for a song.
